March 15th 2009 was Delta Lambda's First Annual Strike Out Arthritis Event! There was a strong turnout as the girls had prepared for weeks to get the show up and running! Gathering at Peachtree Bowling lanes the girls worked hard in rasing awareness and donations for Juvinille Arthritis. While making the rounds a few sisters ran into a little girl who was there with her family. Melissa Grimmett , age 12, had been diagnosed with JRA, for the past 2 years! With her help we were able to raise even more awareness of the painful disease while she helped us raffle off prizes.
